The B8.4D 12V 1.2W halogen lamp, with a base specification of B8.4D, is a micro low-voltage dedicated halogen light source designed for identification and auxiliary lighting in narrow spaces. In the model designation, B8.4D has dual meanings of product model and base specification: "B" generally indicates that the lamp adopts a pin-type compact structure, and "8.4D" refers to the key dimensional parameter of the base pin—the pin length (depth) is 8.4 millimeters. The overall base is of a micro snap-in design without additional redundant structures, suitable for dedicated micro slot lamp holders. It has high fit after installation and is not easy to loosen or fall off.

With a rated voltage of 12 volts and a rated power of 1.2 watts, this lamp relies on halogen cycle technology to slow down tungsten filament loss. Compared with micro incandescent lamps of the same power, it has higher luminous efficiency, stable color temperature (warm white light ranging from 2800K to 3200K) and a color rendering index of ≥95, which can clearly restore the color of the illuminated area. The low-power characteristic of 1.2W makes it extremely energy-efficient, suitable for scenarios requiring long-term continuous operation; the 12V low-voltage power supply also improves the safety of use and avoids the risk of electric shock. During use, it should be matched with a 12V DC or regulated AC power supply to avoid overvoltage operation; during installation and replacement, direct contact with the glass tube is prohibited to prevent local overheating caused by residual fingerprint grease and shorten the service life of the lamp. It is widely used in scenarios with strict requirements on volume and power consumption, such as backlighting of micro-instruments, light sources of precision sensors, micro indicator lights of automobiles, and status lights of small electronic devices.
