The 12V 0.68W T4 halogen lamp with black base is a small tubular low-voltage halogen light source. "T4" indicates that the tube diameter is 4/8 inch (i.e., 12.7mm), and "W/BLACK BASE" means the lamp is equipped with a black base, which is different from the lead-out wire design without a base.

With a rated voltage of 12 volts and a rated power of 0.68 watts, it relies on halogen cycle technology to slow down tungsten filament loss. Compared with ordinary incandescent lamps of the same size, it has the advantages of higher luminous efficiency, stable color temperature (warm white light, with a conventional color temperature range of 2700K–3200K) and excellent color rendering index (CRI value ≥ 95), which can highly restore the true color of objects.

The black base design not only improves the structural stability of the lamp, but also plays a certain role in heat insulation and leakage prevention. Meanwhile, it facilitates plug-in installation or connection to the circuit through the terminal on the base, without complicated welding operations. This lamp is suitable for 12V DC or regulated AC power supply, and overvoltage use should be avoided. During installation, it is still necessary to avoid direct contact with the glass tube to prevent local overheating caused by fingerprint grease. It is widely used in low-power scenarios such as indicator lights of small household appliances, local lighting of precision instruments, automotive interior lights, and micro display cabinet lighting.
